A Look at Kung Fu
Kung Fu, as a martial art, is an excellent form of exercise which teaches you self defense as well as self discipline. It is one of the well known martial form around the world commonly referred also as Gung Fu, Kuo Shu and Wu Shu. It looks very similar to Karate both your hand and foot techniques. It is also one of the oldest form of martial art.
Kung Fu has various styles and variants among them Shaolin is the famous one. It has been practiced in China for many centuries even before the Shaolin temples built!
As most of think that martial arts, including kung fu is practiced only for self defense but the fact remains that martial arts also improves ones mind and improves his way of life through self discipline and self control.
Kung Fu not only teaches to overcome our obstacles in fights it also teaches us to control our emotions and control of our body and mind.
There are also a famous technique called five animals technique in Kung Fu, namely Eagle Claw, Crane, Tiger, Snake and Dragon.
Kung Fu also teaches us to respect and fairness to others. It also teaches us harmony and self control and hence with these characteristics making us to achieve the goals and success through self defense and self discipline.
